Abstract
Artificial Intelligence is increasingly being utilized in commercial contract negotiations, offering various opportunities to streamline and enhance the process. This technology can accelerate negotiations, reduce costs, improve accuracy in drafting contractual terms, and enhance legal analysis of documents. Moreover, AI can assist parties in drafting fair and legally compliant contractual clauses by analyzing legal precedents and relevant regulations. However, the use of AI in this field presents multiple legal challenges. Key concerns include legal liability in cases of system errors, lack of transparency in AI-based decision-making, and issues related to confidentiality and the protection of commercial data. Furthermore, adapting traditional contract law principles, such as good faith and freedom of contract, to automated and AI-driven processes requires regulatory reconsideration. Therefore, establishing comprehensive and effective legal frameworks is essential to ensure the fair and responsible use of this technology.
