The literature of the vast Balochistan region, like other issues surrounding the people of this land, has remained neglected and, despite having remarkable features, is less welcomed and cared for by writers and researchers. Few studies have been conducted by interested Baloch speakers. The style, themes, and structure of contemporary Baloch poetry are similar to classical Iranian literature, especially the lyrical literature of the fourth to seventh centuries AH. Love and epic are the two main themes of Baloch poetry, which are narrated in the form of narrative poems. Along with these themes, other issues have also been raised, including religious and ideological hymns, as well as praise and commemoration of Imam Ali (AS) and his noble family, among the prominent themes of these poems. This article seeks to explain, criticize, examine and compare the position of Hazrat Ali (AS) and the Ahl al-Bayt in Balochistan's Balochistan and Persian poetry and to examine the manner in which Hazrat Ali (AS) and the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) are praised and honored in the poetry of several contemporary Baloch poets using a descriptive and analytical method. The results of this study indicate that there are numerous Persian poems about the praise and remembrance of Hazrat Ali (AS) and the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and the poets of this land have been enthusiastic and interested in the great figures of Islam and have mentioned these great figures in their poetry. In the meantime, the interest in composing religious poems in Persian is quite evident among the Baloch.
